There are plans for broadcasts on CBS and Velocity Network.Unfortunately, I DO NOT qualify for the league, not even for the bottom bracket, which requires $2,000,000 in lifetime earnings, one major title, and 6 cashes in $1,500 minimum buy-in tournaments since 2008.Those requirements leave most people out within the cold. However, today I got a call for participation to Epic Poker’s $1,500 Pro/Am slated for Sept. 2 to five on the Palms. Players who win a seat within the $20,000 Championship event get to play out the remainder of the season with a provisional membership. The Palms is hosting a sequence of $100 and $180 buy-in satellites to the $1500 Pro/Am for the following few days. Tournament times are
here.Perhaps some enterprising individuals will convince a couple of casinos to host a sequence of poker tournaments that will post results, award prizes and points, and have a “season long” quest for a year-end tournament. You know, for those people who haven’t won $2,000,000 playing tournaments. How a couple of league with $55 tournaments so that you can include the opposite 99.8 percent of the world’s poker players? All players must be invited, perhaps a small annual fee, and no other requirements rather then providing a reputation and address and a photograph ID to ensure each entrant.I used to bowl with the Amateur Bowlers Tour they usually arrange tournaments with bowling alleys, arranged memberships, and put out a newsletter, and everyone involved had a perfect time.Anybody wish to sponsor a bunch of non – $2,000,000 winners in a league?
